WESTON TOWN HALL
Colantonio completely renovated this historically significant, 45,000 square-foot 1917 building. Designed by Ann Beha Architects, the work included excavation for utilities and new construction in an area with numerous ledge outcroppings and a high water table.
The HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems were upgraded while taking up minimum space and without disturbing existing historic finishes. Both interior and exterior construction and renovation work were matched to existing materials and finishes, including: brick, mortar, slate roof, wood, flooring, marble, tile and plaster.
Colantonio also upgraded the historic Horace Sears Hall on the building's upper level and built a new 7,000 square foot addition to provide additional office and meeting space.
