John joined Colantonio in July 2012 with 37 years of construction experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, and Estimator.  He is an expert in exterior site work, demolition, roadwork and exterior site utilities, road and parking lot preparation, slab preparation, interior plumbing and electrical excavation, and underground tank systems.  He has an extensive background in public construction, particularly K-12 work, with former employer TLT Construction.

What does John like about his job?  “Everything!” he says.  “It’s great to get up and go to work every morning.” His can-do attitude and outstanding work were critical to the success of Weston’s Field Elementary School Project.  He met the various site-related challenges head on – not the least of which was digging up a rock the size of a minivan – and kept the project on track for its September opening.  Off the clock, John loves to relax with his wife and dog by boating off the coast of Rhode Island.
