Jim joined Colantonio in 2016 with more than 20 years in the industry as a supervisor. His background includes higher education, large-scale urban development, government contracts and retail work for former employers Commodore Builders and Whiting-Turner Contracting. Deeply experienced with restricted, urban job sites and in occupied facilities, he excels at mitigating the impact of construction work on residents and the surrounding community. He is currently working on the 27 Boylston Street project.
Jim is highly respected by local officials and trade contractors for his strong work ethic, communication skills and integrity. “I love what I do. It’s a real achievement to bring a client’s vision to life,” he says. “Especially when your entire team is working towards a common goal. There are no problems, only opportunities for solutions.” Jim spends most of his free time coaching baseball for his two sons, Michael and Christopher or trying to catch the next big fish.
