Kim has 32 years of estimating and project management experience in the academic, industrial, biopharmaceutical, hospitality, office, and retail markets. Former employers include The Richmond Group, Stateside Construction Group and F.W. Madigan Company. She is currently managing the Roosevelt Towers Low-Rise Modernization. Kim says, “The best part of my job is getting the opportunity to meet so many new people on each project – owners, designers and subcontractors alike. It is enjoyable to be able to interact with so many different people.”
Kim’s favorite Colantonio project to date was the new Haverhill Intermodal Parking Facility for the MVRTA, her first time working with a completely precast structure and with a hazardous waste site. The project included a pedestrian bridge to the adjacent MBTA Commuter Rail Station. “It was great to watch the facility take shape, and I learned so much from the experience,” she says.
