Michael Akusis

Michael joined Colantonio in August 2025 as an Assistant Superintendent, bringing more than a decade of experience in the construction industry. He has supported field operations across a wide range of projects including managing work within occupied and sensitive environments, specifically client-occupied laboratory facilities. His background includes a strong focus on QA/QC processes, safety compliance, schedule coordination, and on-site team collaboration to help deliver high-quality, well-coordinated projects.

Mike earned his degree in Psychology from Plymouth State University, an educational background that enhances his ability to communicate effectively, foster strong working relationships, and support cohesive project teams. Outside of work, Mike enjoys tackling fun projects for his sons, watching them play sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife.
