Project Description
Colantonio completed construction of a new 49,000 SF, three-story public safety facility and a 17,000 SF, single-story parking structure for the Town of Hingham. The building now houses the Town’s police headquarters and fire station and includes fully operational vehicle garage bays to support emergency response services.
The project scope included abatement and demolition of the existing structure, followed by comprehensive site upgrades to improve access, circulation, and long-term functionality.
The new facility features radiant heat flooring throughout and was constructed with infrastructure in place to support the future installation of photovoltaic panels and electric vehicle charging stations, positioning the Town for long-term sustainability and energy efficiency.
